What Fireworks are Legal in Washington State?

All consumer fireworks are legal in Washington State!  That is correct!  Even Mortars, Artillery Shells, Large Aerial Displays, 500 Gram Cakes, Roman Candles, and Canister Shells.  The only fireworks that are illegal in Washington are firecrackers, bottle rockets (any item on a stick), finned rockets, and M-80s or simular illegal devices.  Pyroland Fireworks has an amazing selection and  All of the fireworks sold at Pyroland are 100% Legal in Washington State.  Some cities may have further restricted what kinds of fireworks are allowed to be used within city limits.   Pyroland Fireworks has a Huge selection of fountains and novelty items should your city not allow aerial type fireworks.  Pyroland Fireworks supports the safe and legal use of fireworks in Washington State.

Legal Fireworks in Washington State:

WAC 212-17-025

Definition and classification"Fireworks."

(1) Consumer fireworks as defined in RCW 70.77.136 includes the following devices manufactured in accordance with the American Pyrotechnics Association Standards outlined in WAC 212-17-021:
(a) Ground and hand-held sparkling devices;
(i) Wire sparkler/dipped stick;
(ii) Cylindrical fountain;
(iii) Cone fountain;
(iv) Illuminating torch;
(v) Wheel;
(vi) Ground spinner;
(vii) Flitter sparkler;
(viii) Toy smoke device;
(b) Aerial device;
(i) Helicopter, aerial spinner;
(ii) Roman candles;
(iii) Mine and shell devices;
(iv) Aerial shell kit, reloadable tube.
(c) Multiple tube fireworks devices - Cake.
(d) New fireworks items as defined in RCW 70.77.236 may be added to the list of consumer fireworks if approved by the state fire marshal.
 

Prohibited Fireworks In Washington

The sale of or an offer to sell the following types of fireworks is prohibited in Washington State by RCW 70.77.401:  consumer fireworks which are classified as sky rockets, or missile-type rockets, firecrackers, salutes, or chasers as defined by the United States department of transportation and the federal consumer products safety commission except as provided in RCW 70.77.311.
